There is no love sincerer than the love of food.
My weaknesses have always been food and men - in that order.
Tomatoes and oregano make it Italian; wine and tarragon make it French. Sour cream makes it Russian; lemon and cinnamon make it Greek. Soy sauce makes it Chinese; garlic makes it good.
Food was a constant topic of conversation in our household.
I think I was immediately fed, so food became a very important part of my life.
I am not a great cook, I am not a great artist, but I love art, and I love food, so I am the perfect traveller.
I live in a kind of gay bubble. I live in a gay house, I drive a gay car. I wear gay clothes, I eat gay food.
I can spend hours in a grocery store. I get so excited when I see food, I go crazy. I spend hours arranging my baskets so that everything fits in and nothing gets squashed. I'm really anal about it, actually.
If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.
